Louise Jones

Louise Jones, a Detroit-based muralist recognized nationally for floral murals and known in the artist community as “Ouizi,” created a large-scale mural inspired by native North Carolina flora. Featuring lilies, dogwoods, irises and wood sorrels, Jones’ artwork spans on the walls and ceiling of a paseo near The Backyard – a pedestrian passageway connecting main sidewalks and alleyways – on the South side of Fenton. This is Jones’ third mural in the Triangle. Her work is currently on display on the North Carolina Museum of Art campus and in Downtown Raleigh on the corner of Davie and S. Dawson Streets.
